Winchester Songwriting Clinic @ The Railway Inn

Hosted by some of the most seasoned writers in Hampshire, the Clinic gives you a chance to ask for advice with all aspects of songwriting and arrangement. Come and network and meet like-minded artists. Free Entry.

Have you ever found yourself asking any of these questions, in a desperate, artistic frenzy?:

  • What do you do in the event of writers’ block?

  • How do you even begin to write a song?

  • Which comes first, the lyrics or the melody?

  • How do I get my ideas down?

  • I wish I could meet some like-minded songwriting enthusiasts… do you know of any?

  • I would love to pay a monthly visit to The Railway Inn in Winchester, do you know of any good events on the first Wednesdays of every month that I could go to?

If you have, you should come along to our songwriting clinic.

Run by songwriters and producers behind such acts as The Spitfire Sisters and The Goose and The Crow, Steve Christie and Louisa Revolta, in association with Vintage Keys Studio, we will aim to answer all of your questions, and you will hopefully leave our sessions with some idea of how to start/continue/improve upon your songwriting skills, and also make some useful music industry contacts along the way.
